WHAT IS DOXA JEWELRY MADE OF?

We specialize in Solid 925 Sterling Silver pieces, however we are also breaking out into the 14K Yellow Gold space, we have a couple pieces that are gold based, such as our Golden Dagger Earrings, and more to come!

Our pieces are solid, you will not find a hollow jewelry on our site, largely because we want customers to get the best value out of their pieces, this is a part of our overarching mission - providing high quality investment pieces to our customers.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?

We provide high quality jewelry pieces, that being said, they do occasionally need to be maintained and cleaned.

     925 Sterling Silver Care:

With our 925 Sterling Silver pieces, it is best to wash these items by hand, in hot, sudsy water, with a silver cleaning solution, or silver-friendly soaps. If tarnish is noticed on a silver piece, using a tarnish cleaner is preferred for proper care. Keeping your jewelry away from the elements, and inside of an airtight box/ bag is best for preserving color and vibrancy of the silver. Cleaning off with a cotton swab or jewelry cleaning cloth is recommended when drying off or polishing your pieces.

     14K Yellow Gold Care

With 14K Yellow Gold, we generally recommend a similar care routine as we do with regular gold. One of the best care tips for 14K Yellow Gold is to often clean your gold in a bath of vinegar or mild dish soap for 10 - 15 minutes with notice of tarnish or fading. Keeping the jewelry in motion, airtight, as well as gently scrubbed with cotton is key in gold's longevity.

Washing your gold pieces in soft warm water is also recommended to be done regularly, as this will take away tarnished looks and reinforce color and metal vibrancy. Cleaning off with a cotton swab or jewelry cleaning cloth is recommended when drying off or polishing your pieces.
